Funksioni gama është një funksion në matematikë i cili shënohet me shkronjën greke Γ i cili është zgjërim i një funksioni tjetër të ashtuquajtur faktoriel për numrat real dhe kompleks. Për numrin kompleks z me pjesë reale pozitive, funksioni gama përkufizohet me shprehjen

Ky përkufizim mund të zgjërohet në pjesën e mbetur të rrafshit kompleks por jo për nummrat e plotë negativ.

Nëse n është numër i plotë pozitiv atëherë vlen barazimi
