Kliometrika
Kliometrika nganjëherë e quajtur historia e re ekonomike, [1] ose historia ekonometrike, [2] paraqet aplikimin sistematik të teorisë ekonomike, teknikave ekonometrike dhe metodave të tjera formale ose matematikore në studimin e historisë (sidomos historisë sociale dhe ekonomike). [3] Më konkretisht ajo ngërthen një qasje sasiore (në krahasim me cilësinë ose etnografinë) ndaj historisë ekonomike. [4] Termi kliometrikë vjen nga emri Clio, e cila ishte muza e historisë dhe fillimisht u përdor nga ekonomisti matematikor Stanley Reiter në vitin 1960. [5] Si një disiplinë ndihmëse e historisë kliometrika ka pasur një ringjallje në 'historinë e re ekonomike' që nga fundi i viteve 1990. [6] [7]
