English: Cave 1 is dedicated to God Shiva or Nataraja. There are many curved figures on the ceiling. This is a view of the "Verandah".

The photograph attempts to depict the wonderful rock cut architecture of this cave. Because of low level of ambient light inside the cave and Archaeological Survey of India's (ASI) rule of "non usage of tripods inside protected monuments", it's somewhat difficult to shoot hand-held.
