Ata quheshin ''"oblastni gospodari"'' ("zotër feudalë") në dokumentet e Perandorit Urosh V i Dobëti (r. 1355-1371). Në 1368, pas sulmit që ndërmori Gjergji I ndaj [[Kotorri|Kotorrit]], oborri serb e njohu si rebel.
