==Biography ==
Gani Gashi was born on 27 February 1944 in [[Mramori]] of [[Prishtina]] municipality. He finished his elementary education in his birthplace and Teacher’s School in [[Prishtina]] in 1963. He completed the Academy of Sciences and Arts of [[Kosovo]] (Graphic department) and post-graduate studies in [[Prishtina]]. Since 1968 he has been working for the newspaper [[Rilindja]] in [[Prishtina]] until 21 February 2002. He has been a member of the Association of Fine Arts Artists of Kosova since 1980. Now he lives and works as a free artist in [[Prishtina]].Gashi is married and has five children.
