Diodori në Sicili përmbledhi ''historia e bibliotekës'' - historia deri në vitin 54 p.e. sonë. Kjo përmbledhje e përmbërë nga 14 libra të cilat edhe më tutje ekzistojnë, është më tepër një kombinim i praqitjeve të vjetra.
