Albumi i parë në studio i 3 Doors Down, The Better Life, u lansua më 8 shkurt, 2000 dhe shkoi për t'u bërë e 11-të më i shituri album u vitit, duke shitur mbi 3 milionë kopje. Nga fundi i vitit 2012 deri në Mars 2013, 3 Doors Down shkoi në një turne të përbashkët rok bandin Daughtry për të promovuar albumin e tretë të Daughtry. Koveri  "In the Air Tonight" ishte kapur dhe ngarkuar për kanalin zyrtar të Daughtry në YouTube. Grupi gjithashtu ka luajtur në Dubai Jazz Festival, në shkurt 2013.

Në fillim të vitit 2010, shfaqja realizohet në Patkua dhe Hotel Kazino, në Tunica, Misisipi. Para vitit 2010, shfaqja ishte kryer në Hard Rock Hotel dhe Kazino në Biloxi, Misisipi.
