Frédéric Chopin (Polish: Fryderyk [Franciszek] Chopin, sometimes Szopen; French: Frédéric [François] Chopin; surname pronunciation in English: IPA: /ˈʃoʊpæn/ and French: French pronunciation: [ʃɔpɛ̃]; 1 March 1810[1] – 17 October 1849) was a composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period. He is widely regarded as the greatest Polish composer, and one of music's greatest tone poets.[2]

Chopin was born in the village of Żelazowa Wola, in the Duchy of Warsaw, to a French-expatriate father and a Polish mother, and in his early life was regarded as a child-prodigy[3][4] pianist. In November 1830, at the age of twenty, he went abroad; following the suppression of the Polish November Uprising of 1830–1831, he became one of many expatriates of the Polish "Great Emigration."

In Paris, Chopin made a comfortable living as a composer and piano teacher, while giving few public performances. Though an ardent Polish patriot,[5][6] in France he used the French versions of his names and eventually, to avoid having to rely on Imperial Russian documents, became a French citizen.[7][8][9] After some ill-fated romantic involvements with Polish women, from 1837 to 1847 he had a turbulent relationship with the French writer George Sand (Aurore Dudevant). Always in frail health, he died in Paris in 1849, at the age of thirty-nine, of chronic pulmonary tuberculosis.[10][11]

Chopin's extant compositions were written primarily for the piano as a solo instrument. Though they are technically demanding,[12] his style emphasises nuance and expressive depth. Chopin invented musical forms such as the ballade[13] and was responsible for major innovations in forms such as the piano sonata, waltz, nocturne, étude, impromptu and prélude. His works are mainstays and masterpieces of Romanticism in 19th-century classical music.

English 1. Here are some basic music notes that you should know before you begin the actual piano lessons: Music notation is the written form of music. Music is often called a universal language. We all know that in order to speak a language, we must first learn the alphabet. Unlike the English alphabet (which has 26 letters) musical alphabet has only seven letters - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and then back again to A. Sometimes we use solfege (sohl-fezh) of solfeggio (sohl-feed-Joh) with the syllables, re, mi, fa, sol, la, and you do (if you've seen the movie "Sound of Music", then you know what I mean), to notes mentioned. If you have a piano, you will find these notes several times accross the keyboard. In the English alphabet begin teaching a letter, but in this free piano lessons, we must first learn C note when you look at the keyboard, you will see that there are black keys which are grouped in two-to and 3. On the left side of each group of two black keys, you will find the note C play all the C on your keyboard. When you sit in front of the piano, you will find middle C. On the right side of the note is middle C and D to the left of the note C is B. On the left side of the three black keys is the note F. Play all F notes on your keyboard. On the right side is the note F and G after G is A. So the music alphabet is A, B, C, D, E, F, G and then back to A. There are a total of 12 piano keys (including keys black). Piano keyboard is just the repetition of these notes.
