Deutsch: Sieneser Schule, Tafel des Orsini-Altars, dessen Tafeln sich in verschiedenen Museen befinden, Antwerpen: Verkündigung (Engel und Maria), Kreuzigung, Kreuzabnahme, Paris: Kreuztragung, Berlin: Grablegung. Die 4 Antwerpener Tafeln (inv. nr. 257-260) waren ursprünglich 2 Bildtafeln, die später durchgesägt wurden. Die Rückseite des Kalvarienberges (Kreuzigung) bildete Maria der Verkündigung, die Rückseite der Kreuzabnahme der “Verkündigungsengel Gabriel”. Martini malte für Kardinal Napoleone Orsini. Wegen der geringen Ausmaße handelt es sich wahrscheinlich um einen Reisealtar. Nederlands: De vier tafereeltjes (inv. nr. 257-260) vormden oorspronkelijk twee panelen, die later doorgezaagd zijn. Op de achterkant van de "Calvarie" was "Maria" afgebeeld, en "Kruisafneming" vormde één paneel met "Gabriël". Martini schildert voor Kardinal Napoleone Orsini. De werken zijn klein, waarschijnlijk een reisaltaar. |
