Jean Sibelius
Johan Julius Christian Sibelius (shqiptimi (help·info)) (8 dhjetor 1865 – 20 shtator 1957) ishte një kompozitor Finlandez i Periudhës romantike, muzika që kishte rol të rëndësishëm pë identitetin kombëtar Finlandez. Pjesa kryesore e Sibelius është vendosur në simfonin e shtatë. Si Beethoven, Sibelius ka ërdorur gjithçka të personale për të zhvilluar stilin e tij personal në kompozim. Ndryshe nga Beethoven që e përdorte sinfonin pë paraqitje publike , dhe që i ruante ndjenjat e tij për për veprat e tij ë të vogle, Sibelius i lëshonte ndjenjat e tij personale në sinfoni.

RedaktoJohan Julius Christian Sibelius ka lindur në një familje që flisnin suedisht, në Hämeenlinna në Rusi Grand Duchy of Finland, djali i Christian Gustaf Sibelius dhe Maria Charlotta Sibelius. Gjithashtu nihet si "Janne" në familjen e tij, që prej viteve studentore ai filloj të përdorë formën franceze të emrit të tij "Jean". Ai nihet në botë si Jean Sibelius.
