Teksti fetar

Tekstet fetare, duke përfshirë shkrimet e shenjta, janë tekste të cilat fe të ndryshme i konsiderojnë si të një rëndësie qendrore për traditën e tyre fetare. Ato ndryshojnë nga letërsia duke qenë një përmbledhje ose diskutim i besimeve, praktikave rituale, urdhërimeve ose ligjeve morale, sjelljes etike, aspiratave shpirtërore dhe për krijimin ose nxitjen e një komuniteti fetar.

Brenda çdo feje, këto tekste të shenjta nderohen si burime autoritative të udhëzimit, urtësisë dhe zbulesës hyjnore. Ato shpesh konsiderohen si të shenjta ose të shenjta, duke përfaqësuar mësimet dhe parimet thelbësore që ndjekësit e tyre përpiqen t'i mbështesin.^[1]^[2]^[3]
