Thomas Sowell
Thomas Sowell ( /soʊl/; lindur 30 qershor 1930) është një ekonomist amerikan, teorist shoqëror, filozof politik dhe autor.

Sowell lindi në North Carolina, por u rrit në Harlem, New York. Ai e la shkollën e mesme dhe shërbeu në trupat e Marinës së SHBA-ve gjatë Luftës Koreane.[1] Ai ka marrë një diplomë Bachelor's duke u diplomuar me magna cum laude[2] nga Harvard University në vitin 1958 dhe ka gjithashtu një diplomë Master nga Columbia University të cilën e ka marrë në vitin 1959. Në vitin 1968 ai mori doktoratën e vet në Ekonomi nga University of Chicago.[3]
Sowell ka shërbyer në fakultetet e universiteteve të ndryshme, përfshirë Cornell University dhe University of California, Los Angeles.
