Indoevropianistika

Indoevropianistika është një fushë e gjuhësisë dhe një fushë studimi ndërdisiplinore që merret me gjuhët indo-evropiane, si ato aktuale ashtu edhe ato të zhdukura. [1] Qëllimi i atyre që merren me këto studime është të grumbullojnë informacione mbi proto-gjuhën hipotetike nga e cila kanë prejardhjen të gjitha këto gjuhë, një gjuhë e quajtur Proto-Indo-Evropiane (PIE), dhe folësit e saj, Proto-Indo-Evropianët, përfshirë shoqërinë e tyre dhe mitologjinë proto-indo-evropiane . Studimet hulumtojnë se nga lindi kjo gjuhë dhe si u përhap ajo. Ky artikull gjithashtu liston studiues, qendra, revista dhe seri librash indo-evropianë. [2] [3] [4]

Emërtimi Redakto

Vetë termi indo-evropian tani aktual në literaturën angleze, u krijua në vitin 1813 nga studiuesi britanik Sir Thomas Young, megjithëse në atë kohë, nuk kishte një konsensus për emërtimin e familjes së gjuhëve të zbuluara kohët e fundit. Sidoqoftë, ai duket se e ka përdorur atë si një term gjeografik. Ndër emrat e tjerë të sugjeruar asokohe ishin:

  • indo-germanique (C. Malte-Brun, 1810)
  • Indoeuropiane (Th. Young, 1813)
  • japetisk ( Rasmus C. Rask, 1815)
  • indisch-teutsch (F. Schmitthenner, 1826)
  • sanskritisch ( Wilhelm von Humboldt, 1827)
  • indokeltisch (AF Pott, 1840)
  • arioeuropeo (GI Ascoli, 1854)
  • Arian ( FM Müller, 1861)
  • aryaque (H. Chavée, 1867).

Japetisku ose "gjuhët japetike" të Raskut, sipas nocionit të vjetër të " japetitëve " dhe përfundimisht Jafetit, birit të Noes biblike, paralelizon me termin semitik , nga Semi i birit të Noes dhe Hamitic , nga Hami, biri i Noes. Japetike dhe Hamitike janë të dyja të vjetruara, përveç përdorimit të herëpashershëm të termit "Hamito-Semitik" për gjuhët Afro-Aziatike .

Në anglisht, termi indo-gjerman u përdor nga J.C. Prichard në 1826 megjithëse ai preferoi indo-evropian . Në frëngjisht, përdorimi i indo-européen u krijua nga A. Pictet (1836). Në letërsinë gjermane, Indoeuropäisch u përdor nga Franz Bopp që nga viti 1835, ndërsa termi Indogermanisch ishte prezantuar tashmë nga Julius von Klapproth në 1823, duke synuar të përfshinte degët më veriore dhe më jugore të familjes, siç ishte një shkurtim i listës së plotë të gjuhëve të përfshira që kishin qenë të zakonshme në literaturën e mëparshme. Termi Indo-Germanisch u krijua nga veprat e August Friedrich Pott, i cili e kuptoi atë që përfshinte degët më lindore dhe më perëndimore, duke hapur dyert për diskutimet pasuese të pasuksesshme nëse nuk duhej të ishte Indo-Keltike, apo edhe Tocharo-Celtic .

Sot, termi indo-evropian, indo-européen është stabilizuar mirë në literaturën angleze dhe franceze, ndërsa Indogermanisch mbetet aktuale në letërsinë gjermane, por krahas një numri në rritje të përdorimeve të Indoeuropäisch Në mënyrë të ngjashme, edhe termat Indo-Europees dhe Indogermaans hasen ndonjëherë herë pas here në literaturën shkencore holandeze.

Indo-Hitit ndonjëherë përdoret për familjen më të gjerë përfshirë Anadollin nga ata që konsiderojnë se IE dhe Anadolli janë degë të veçanta të krahasueshme.
