Monumenti

Monumenti është një lloj strukture tridimensionale i krijuar në mënyrë eksplicite për të përkujtuar një person ose ngjarje të rëndësishme për një grup social si pjesë e kujtimit të kohëve historike ose trashëgimisë kulturore, për shkak të rëndësisë së tij historike, politike, teknike, artistike ose arkitekturore. Shembuj të monumenteve përfshijnë statujat, (luftën) përmendoret, ndërtesat historike, vendet arkeologjike dhe pasuritë kulturore. Nëse ka interes publik për ruajtjen e tij, një monument mund të shënohet si një Vend i Trashëgimisë Botërore të UNESCO-s. ^[1] Përderisa për pjesët ose tërësitë e pjesëve të pandryshuara të natyrës së gjallë ose të vdekur me vlerë ekologjike, shkencore, estetike ose kulturo-historike dhe/ose vlera turistike përdoret shprehja monument natyror ose monument i natyrës për monumentet kulturore e historike përdoret edhe shprehja përmendore.
