Patrick White

Patrick Victor Martindale White (Knightsbridge, Londër, 28 maj 1912 – Sydney, 30 shtator 1990), ishte shkrimtar australian i cili konsiderohet si njëri ndër romanscierët më të mëdhej në gjuhën angleze në shekullin e XX. Botoi 12 romane, tre përmbledhje me tregime të shkurtra dhe tetë drama, nga viti 1935 deri në 1987. Në vitin 1973 iu dha Çmimit Nobel për Letërsi me motivacionin "për një art narrativ epik dhe psikologjik që ka futur një kontinent të ri në letërsi".
