Marenglen Verli

Marlengen Verli (lindi më 19 dhjetor 1951) është historianë shqiptarë. Që nga viti 2009, ai është anëtar i Akademisë së Shkencave të Shqipërisë.

Pasi përfundoi shkollën e lartë "Petro Nini Luarasi", ai hyri në Fakultetin e Historisë dhe Filologjisë të Universitetit të Tiranës, dega hisyori-gjeografi. Gjatë viteve 1973–79 ai punoi si mësues në qytetin e Laçit. Në vitin 1979 ai mbajti pozitën “personel shkencor” në Institutin e Historisë në Tiranë deri në vitin 2003. Prej vitit 2005–2008 ai shërbeu si drejtor i Institutit të Historisë, dhe kryeredaktor i revistës Studime historike.

Për 30 vjet ai ka qenë ligjërues i Universitetit të Tiranës (Fakulteti i Historisë-Filologji dhe Fakulteti i Shkencave Shoqërore),Universiteti Aleksandër Xhuvani në Elbasan. Si autor dhe bashkëautor, ai liston shumë botime, të profilizuara në historinë e shqiptarëve brenda zonave të ish-Jugosllavisë.
