Skulptura

Skulptura është një degë e artit pamor tredimensional. Ajo është njëra prej arteve plastike. Procesi skulptural përdor fillimisht gdhendjen e materialeve dhe modelimin e tyre, si p.sh. balta, guri, metalet, qeramika, druri dhe materiale të tjera por që me modernizimin, është krijuar pothuajse një liri e plotë në aspektin e materialeve dhe të procesit përkatës.

Skulptura e punuar në gur mbijeton më mirë se sa disa vepra të tjera të artit të punuara në materiale të cilat prishen dhe ndodh që skulptura shpesh përfaqëson shumicën e veprave të mbijetuara të kohës (përveç qeramikës) nga kulturat e lashta, edhe pse në të kundërtën traditat e skulpturës në dru mund të jenë zhdukur pothuajse tërësisht. ^[2]</ref>
