Disa Vende të pavarrura ose që kanë shpallur pavarsinë dhe pranohen "de facto" nga bashkësia ndërkombëtare mirpo jo "de jure". Shumica e tyre anë të ndara nga vendet amë.

Shtete të pa pranuara me që de facto zotërojnë territorin e tyre

en:Abkhazia ëhtë shtetë i vetë/deklaruar që pak ashumë edhe funksiononë si i pavarrur por i pa panuar nga ndonjë nacion (antare e OKB-së). Nodhet në mes të en:Caucasus dhe en:Black Sea e pranuar si pjesë veriperendimore e Georgia. Kjo pjesë i është bashkuar me focë Gjeorgjisë nga en:USSR më 1931. Sovjetet e Abkazisë kanë prolamuar pavarrësin nga Gjeorgjia më 1990 dhe ka asur një luftë të shkurt nga 1992 deri më 1994. Beteja e qershorit të 1994 ka shkaktuar që Abkazia të mes jashtë qeverisjes së Gjeorgjisë.

en:Republic of China e përbrë vetëm nga en:Taiwan dhe disa ishuj të vegjël. Që nga humbja në en:Chinese Civil War më 1949 ka humbur forcën diplomatike në të mirë të en:People's Republic of China . Pavarrësia e këtij vendi zyrtarisht është e njour nga 25 vende. Ka nën kontrollë "de facto" (por jo edhe emrin) të gjitha mardhënjet me shtete më të rëndësishme ndërkombtare.

Lufta civile në en:Somalia ka shkatërruar qeverisjen qendrore. Më këtë rastë është deklaruar vetë en:Somaliland në en:Somalia dhe funksionon pak a shmë si e pavarrur. Nuk është e pranuar nga ndonjë shtet. Në këtë pjesë dominon popullsia Slavic si opozitë e shumicës Romanian që është në Moldavi.

Vende pjesërisht të njohura dhe të okupuara

en:State of Palestine është deklaruar më 1988 dhe e njohur nga vendet Islamike dhe Arabe. Mirpo pjesë të saj janë të okupuara nga en:Israel

en:Western Sahara territor i okupuar nga en:Morocco që nga 1970. Është propuzuar referendumi mirpo nuk dihet se ç'ka ndodhur edhe pse ky territor është i njohur nga en:African Union.

Vende në histori që "de facto" kanë zotëruar vendin e tyre e që nuk janë pranuar

en:Katanga kontrollonte vendin me të njëjtin emër por të emruar më vonë si en:Belgian Congo pas en:decolonisation, mes viteve 1960 dhe 1964.
